When you create an account, your User Name is derived automatically from your email address by taking the first part, dropping the domain (info after the '@'), and adding numbers to make the result unique. Your User Name is used as the default way of identifying you on a Life Event webpage without revealing your email address to other participants.

You can change the way you are identified to others in all Life Events you participate in by entering a Nickname in the My Information area at the bottom of the MY ACCOUNT page (use Menu link at the top of any page to go to your account page). The Nickname will be shown to others instead of the User Name.

When you log in to the website, you must use your email address and a personal password (either the default created for you or one you changed to later). Your email address is used instead of the User Name to make it easier to remember.

If you want your real name and/or your email address shown to others in the Event Participant Directories, then you:
1. Go to the MY ACCOUNT page (use Menu link at the top of any page to go to your account page)
2. Scroll down to the bottom of your account page to the My Information area
3. Use the Edit Info link to enter/change your profile information and then "Save Changes"
4. Check the boxes to right in the My Information area to display each type of information in the Participant Directories.
